Production

We are constantly developing and upgrading our technology for producing building materials.

We regularly control the quality of input materials and the final products in our own two laboratories. The control is performed by qualified and experienced professionals using modern, regularly maintained and calibrated equipment. This way we can ensure that our products are in compliance with applicable Slovenian and European standards.

At our quarries in Cerov Log, Vrhpeč, Vrčice, Gunte, Dolenje Laknice, Log, our separation units in Drnovo and Dobruška vas, and our gravel pit in Stari Grad, we extract the material that we need for constructions. We also sell some of this material on the market.

Our multi-purpose production programme enables us to use different types of raw material: fine sieved gravel for producing asphalt, concrete and mortar; stone chippings with a nominal size of up to 300 mm for unbound and hydraulically bound materials in infrastructure construction; and stones for coverings of water structures and other construction purposes.

We produce asphalt mixtures in our asphalt plant in Drnovo pri Krškem. Our production capacity is 160 tons of asphalt mixture per hour. We can produce different types of asphalt mixtures according to the type of work: base, binding and wear layers of asphalt concrete, stone mastic asphalt and drainage asphalt. These mixtures are suitable for roads with the highest traffic volumes.

The CGP group has six concrete plants, of which two are in the Dolenjska region in Novo mesto and in the quarry in Vrhpeč; two are in the Posavje region in Drnovo and Boštanj; and one in Črnomelj. The sixth concrete plant is a high-capacity mobile concrete plant that moves together with our biggest projects. Concrete plants in Novo mesto, Vrpeč and Drnovo have the capacity of 45 m3 of concrete per hour. Concrete plants in Črnomelj and Boštanj are smaller and have the capacity of 23 m3 of concrete per hour. Our mobile concrete plant can produce up to 60 m3 of concrete per hour. Our concrete plants are technologically very advanced. We produce concrete with strength grades from C 8/10 to C 35/45, including concrete that besides tensile strength also offers resilience to cold, salt and water.
