Production
One of CGP’s primary advantages is that it has its own supply of building materials. The production of asphalt mixes, concrete mixes and stone materials underpins the company’s competitiveness and independence.
Stone aggregates
Stone material for both CGP and the market is produced at quarries at Cerov Log, Vrhpeč, Vrčice, Gunte, Log, Spodnje Laknice, separaciji Drnovo in Dobruška vas and the Stari Grad gravel production site, where up to 0.5 million m3 of this material is produced every year.
The production programme comprises crushed stone aggregate for the production of asphalt mixes, crushed and naturally fractionated stone aggregate for the production of concrete, crushed stone with a nominal value of up to 300 mm which is used in the production of unbound and hydraulically bound mixtures used for civil engineering work and road building.
Asphalt mixes
Asphalt mixes are produced at the Drnovo pri Krškem asphalt plant, where the two production plants Alfeld and Wibau are operating. They have a total capacity of 210 tonnes per hour, and annual production of 250,000 tonnes.
The Alfeld asphalt production plant is smaller and can produce 60 tonnes of asphalt mix per hour, while the Wibau asphalt production plant is more modern and has an output of 160 tonnes of asphalt mix per hour.
The production programme comprises:
- bituminised concrete,
- gravel with bitumen mastic,
- drainage asphalts.
Concrete
Concrete is produced at five concrete mixing plants: Livada (Oru and Gradis SB 500 concrete mixing plant, capacity 45 m3/h and 23 m3/h, respectively), Vrhpeč – Sveta Ana (Arabu concrete mixing plant, capacity 45 m3/h), Drnovo (Tosin concrete mixing plant, capacity 45 m3/h), Boštanj (Gradis SB 500 concrete mixing plant, capacity 23 m3/h) and Brežice (Gradis SB 205 concrete mixing plant, capacity 16 m3/h).
The production programme comprises plastic concrete of solidity class from C 16/20 to C 30/37, cast-in-place concrete of solidity class from C 20/25 to C 35/45 and aerated concrete of solidity class from C 25/30 to C 35/45.
We produce 150,000 m3 of concrete mixes every year.
All production plants in the company have certified production control in accordance with the regulations of the Construction Products Act (Official Gazette of the RS, nos. 52/00 and 110/02) and Construction of Premises Act (Official Gazette of the RS, nos. 110/02 and 47/04) as well as their bylaws.
